How to Care for Your Utensils

A note from Casey:

Thank you so much for your order! It means the world to a small business owner such as myself and I’m just so happy you found the shop☺️ Now without further a-due, I’ll pass the mic over to your new cookware.

A note from your utensils:

Hello! We are SO excited to be a part of your home. Our main goal is to further heighten your cooking experience. We aim to bolster the connection between you and your food. We also promise not to bring more toxins into your life, only joy.

In order to do these things, we have a few requests:

Cleaning

We prefer it immediately when finished cooking for best results and need only warm water and a scrubber. No dishwashers please. We are naturally antibacterial, so no soap is needed!

Oil/Wax Baths

We like them early and often, but will settle for application when noticeably drying out. To increase our life, we suggest liberal application of the oil/wax after the first 1-3 cooking experiences, and at user discretion after that. After a wash and dry, we like to have the oil/wax left on overnight and buffed off with a paper towel in the morning. Just like you, we love our nightly routine. Take care of us and we will take care of you!

We can’t wait to begin our cooking adventure!!!

PS - message Casey if you need more oil, he’s got the good stuff.

What to Avoid

Harsh chemicals or bleach

Abrasive scouring pads (we recommend a white pad for wax application)

Leaving utensils soaking for extended periods

Extreme temperature changes AKA Dishwashers

With proper care, your quality utensils will serve you well and maintain their beauty for generations. If you have questions about caring for specific pieces, don't hesitate to contact us!
